Un criticises bruneis introduction of sharia law to Saudi Arabia and its neighboring countries.

‘Not a Muslim nation, but a Muslim state’

He wrote:

“Saudi Arabia, is certainly a Muslim nation with Islam as its fundamental theology – it follows the Holy Quran in many areas. So, one would wonder why not impose Sharia law across the entire Muslim world on non-Muslims.

“Yet Saudi Arabia was the first to institute sharia law in its own land.

“It did????? ?????? not have the experience, or wisdom, to realise that sharia would lead to social conflict. In fact, it created one in its own country.

“In the 1970s, the Islamic fundamentalist community in the country created the Islamic State, which was the direct result of the Saudi implementation of the Sharia law.”

He continued:

“I find it ironic that Mr. Netanyahu’s speech has been compared to his father’s, with some Saudi officials using that analogy in their defense.

“But it does not matter what their father did. The message is clear, that even a Muslim-majority country with a large Muslim population does not have the experience, or the wisdom, to implement sharia law.

“At the same time it is the fault of their own governments to impose sharia law. The Islamic extremist groups in Saudi Arabia have now turned into ISIS and the Nusra Front, the very groups Hamas has banned for their brutal actions.

“The Saudis and all Muslim governments should reflect o??n how to avoid repeating history and the results of this disastrous experiment.”

Mr Netanyahu wrote:

“This is one of the few speeches I have given in my career that has not come across on cable news, and it is very welcome.

“There is nothing more refreshing, for I believe that the media will give these spee??????ches because they have a very different perspective – and it was a refreshing view to give the public a voice from their point of view.

“The next time you watch Fox, take a look at how their news anchor, Bret Baier, and his colleagues have been presenting the debate from the podium, and the fact that the question that it came up, if Mr. Netanyahu wanted to come off as harsh, might be acceptable.

“I will be looking for someone from within the Netanyahu family – somebody who understands that Israel has to respect other religions. Israel should also respect its own diversity, but never let its ‘principles’ be defined by others.

Abc weather in action

Abc weather in action.

The weather has been so hot that it seems like it hasn’t been possible for a human to stand still during it.

This can be seen from the picture above, which has come from Reddit user “Tasteless_Romeo”.

There is a lot to see around this picture. Firstly, there is a ??????clear indication that the temperature has gone beyond 80 C. A few minutes later, this temperature drops to a cooler 80’s and then back into the mid 60’s range as the temperature nears 20 C. Then to a cool 35 C, and this temperature goes well into the 30s. This is also when the smoke starts to be evident, especially at a time when you cannot even see the smoke coming from the exhaust of the car.

What are the odds? Not good, especially when you see how quickly this car was running. After the engine of the car was started, a light would turn on and off a couple of times.

In the end, it looks like this was most likely due to a single person starting the fire.

In the pictures of this man, he looks pretty upset. He has his hat off to everyone that helped save his life, but you can imagine the anger of those people is getting to this man too.

It really can’t be helped, but this is just the nature of the beast.

The story continues on further on…

This man was going to burn to death, even wor?? ???se than we’re seeing with this fire.

In the video, he is asked a couple of questions about his ordeal, before he is driven through the air again by someone. This has also gone on for several minutes.

The story continues on to the fact that he died on impact, which is the same thing as hitting the ground.

But this is exactly what we saw happen to many of these people.

If you want to take a look at a larger version, check out some images from the Reddit thread below.

The fire was reported around 4pm. There was just about nothing left of this car, and when the fire broke out it w???? ??as already almost dark.

Act grandstand

I ask him how they could come up with such an idiotic, outrageous notion that the media is now so obsessed with the notion of “fake news.”

“The media is too biased! It’s?????? too biased!” h??????e yells, referring to the media’s propensity for sensationalizing fake news in their reports and the fact that they can’t seem to get anything right.

I ask him how the media doesn’t care about the plight of the undocumented undocumented community. He replies: “Because th??ey don’t!”

You see? And here’s the irony: If undocumented workers were making $5.25 an hour today, that’s roughly what they’re making. In 2014, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median hourly wage of undocumented workers was $9.08. And they get paid more today than they were in 2007. So if the undocumented community in America weren’t a bunch of scroungers and criminals, their minimum hourly wages today would be an impressive $10.11.

At last night’s closing ceremony at Twickenham, the audience chanted “USA!”, a reference to Trump’s criticism.

“I’m feeling the real change,” said the Olympic favourite, who was born in Brooklyn. “My daughter’s next birthday will be in November – if she likes. My mother will be gone this summer for four months. It feels like the time is finally right to see what we were meant to do.”

The Americans have previously won four gold medals at this tournament, each since 1986.

The rest of the women who made the final included the British women’s team, who beat Hungary and won their opening four events before falling 0-2 in Beijing. The Chinese and Russians advanced after gold med??? ??als each at the Rio Games – Russia, now sixth, won bronze in 2010.

Serena Williams and the USA made it two straight Olympians to make it out of the group of death to make the final against Germany after winning gold in each of the previous two rounds.

“It’s good to feel like you’re playing well. It’s tough to say why,” said Williams, who finished with a record-breaking nine gold medals to her name.

“It just means that you put yourself out there and you play your game and try your best.

Food drops planned for flooded north qld waterway

Aerial photos taken in the morning show that the area surrounding the flood-hit South Brisbane will be flooded with wa??? ??ter as heavy rains continue to pound south of the city.

The heavy rain and strong winds were expected to dump up to one metre of water onto the Ainslie and East Brisbane bridges.

The river crossing at Anzac Bridge was closed Tuesday, but the bridge is expected to reopen in time to connect the bridge to the road.

Residents are advising drivers to watch out for swimmers and dolphins as the river is expected to rise and then crash over the bridge and flood roads.

“The bridge has been closed in our area, but the water is moving very slowly and hopefully the water levels will recover within 24 hours,” Ainslie River Trust manager John Raffery said.

Raffery said it could take several days, possibly up to a week, before the bridge can be reopened.

“I would advise it would be a while before everyone will be able to return to Brisbane because it would require more extensive maintenance work,” Raffery said.

“But we’???? ??re trying to get the people on the bridges back before the flood hits and we would do anything ????to reduce the danger to the people who work on these bridges.”

AFL Media has contacted the South Brisbane Redfern City Council, East Brisbane City Council and the Ainslie River Trust to provide an update on the situation in the area.

The water level at the Anzac Bridge was expected to rise by more than 2.5 metres by Tuesday morning, according to Raffery.

The Brisbane City Council is working to get the water level under control as the water is expected to rise at one of the bridges.

More rain is expected in Brisbane’s west early next week, with an expected uppour.

A heavy downpour was seen over parts of south-west Queensland from Monday to Tuesday night.

There was also rain across the eastern part of the Brisbane region on Tuesday, with more rain likely on Wednesday and Thursday.

In South Australia, a significant amount of rain was reported across the Gold Coast overnight on Tuesday, as the region’s weather bureau said heavy rainfall was expected between Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening.

The state’s forecaster said the rain would be moderate, but still very heavy.

“There is no doubt that heavy rain is expected to impact much of the central Queensland region on Tuesday and Wednesday nigh

Commission told stay or go policy was a failure on the government’s part

Commission told stay or go policy was a failure on the government’s part.

They cited a series of warnings and suggestions from the Office of the Children’s Commissioner that “there is an urgent need for a review”, said Nanaia Jha, deputy director of the children’s services division at the Office of Child Protection and Development.

There are five types of stay or go policies – with two types set by the state and one by the centre.

Under “stay or go” policy, if a child is placed in a care unit or social care facility for the purpose of a stay or go, their case must be monitored by the police.

But when a case requires a stay or go??, the police can take the child to any location within the centre.

This means children would have to go into a children’s home in a suburb rather than live in a home with a parent, foster family or guardian, as under “go” policy.

A court case, as well as a par?? ??ental appeal, would trigger a stay or go.

The Office of the Children’s Commissioner said while the focus had always been on staying children in the care units, it had also focused on social care.

“We have been very careful about what we’ve said,” said Jha.

“We have a very clear??? ??? focus on staying children in the homes but we also think you also have to have regard to those families that have kids in the care unit and how they live and that sort of thing.”

The new policy will not apply if two parents with children in the home are parents to the child in care.

The new rules also apply where a child is in a household with other children.

Under a stay or go policy, the police do not need to inform parents or others until the first day after a stay or go, but they must do so if there is a delay.

This means they could take children to the first of the month to check if their parents were going through the process of leaving children in care – a process that can take anywhere from 24 hours to one week.

The new policy came into force on Saturday, August 31 and will not be expanded until next year.

For those who find a care worker will not get the children to a house with their parents on a day when they need to spend time with them, they can call the National Children’s Relocation Service on 1800 333 100.

Loud music warning falls on deaf ears (The Star/ The Globe and Mail)

Loud music warning falls on deaf ears (The Star/ The Globe and Mail)

And the loud sounds were more often associated with those with “poor hearing”.

For example, when respondents with a severe hearing impairment were compared with those without, the researchers found that the loudness of so???????unds in their own homes was higher in areas with an “acutely or very poorly” severe hearing impairment (such as for example, if the sound was heard repeatedly over time).

These findings suggest the frequency of sound in homes is influenced, in part, by the severity of a hearing impairment, according to the study’s author, Dr. Christine MacNaughton, a professor of optometry at McMaster University. The researchers are interested in finding out whether this influences how people with hearing impairment, people who speak too much, use music, watch TV, and how they interact with other people.

While the exact mechanism of how loud sounds play a role in our hearing is still under investigation, MacNaughton points out that it’s probably not due to simp?? ? ???le noise-cancelling mechanisms that the researchers tested. Rather, it might be down????? to human speech.

While we’re being taught that loud music makes us feel better, this study suggests that this “sense of better listening” in music may not actually be true.

Kazakhstan shuts down oppn websites

10 January 2016

The government of Kazakhstan announced Friday that it is closing down several sites run by opposition sites and opposition-related platforms – including opposition.com – and preventing them from providing services for visitors and residents of Kazakhstan.

CDC ??? ???Kazakhstan has said the government is “trying to close down certain sites that had no legal right to exist and did not serve any legitimate purpose.” The website run by a group of opposition activists called Pnasa, and the web pages for some of the internet portals for opposition leaders, are among those targeted. Kazakhstan said it was taking steps to shut down socia????l media accounts of those involved in the websites.

Kazakh authorities warned tha??t, “the implementation of measures, including blocking websites, will not have positive results if it remains an ongoing issue.”

It is estimated that tens of thousands of people live in some of the most heavily guarded cities, including Tashkent, Ulan-Ude and Nizhny Novgorod. The situation remains tense; the opposition, through its Internet Center in central Kazan, is working to stop its online presence and engage in peaceful activism.
